Lemonaide Day 2009

    Each year kids across the city of Alexandria hold lemonade stands to raise funds for Alexandria children's charities.

We have not yet set a date for Lemonaide Day 2009, but we will post the date, along with the sponsor form and sign up sheet, as soon as the date is finalized.

WE DID IT GREAT IN '08!

 
Lemonaide Day '08 (Saturday, April 26, 2008) was a record breaking Lemonaide Day! We raised more than ever before, exceeding our goal of $12,000 by a lot. Lemonaide Day 2008 raised just over $14,000! The money was split and given to two charities. We are so proud to give each of them a check for $7,000!

We presented a $7,000 to Coats for Kids and to the Center for Alexandria's Children on Thursday, June 19. Both charities were extremely grateful. We are so excited to see the money go to great use; Coats for Kids mentioned that our $7,000 donation will provide coats for about 90% of Alexandria's children.

  Blast from the Past!

Kids Helping Kids has sponsored Lemonaide Day every year since 2002.  We have raised over $71,000 through lemonade sales and corporate sponsors.  We have donated those funds to:  Campagna Kids, The Center for Alexandria's Children, The Child and Family Network Centers, Grandma Rita's Kids, Coats for Kids, and the Alexandria Youth Police Camp.  If you are an Alexandria charity benefitting kids, please contact us if you'd like to be considered for next year's fundraising.
